Die Einladung
It's been almost two months since I took up german again. I'm surprised how seven years could not erase my love for this language, and kept it in my head, to be easily remembered whenever I was ready to. Soon I will start my A.2.2 level at the Goethe Institut here in Bogota before packing all my hopes and crossing the sea once again to pursue dreams and happiness. Invitations were part of our vocabulary list during this last level, and as usual there is nothing prettier than hand made work to me.

No se como lo hace, ¡pero las acuarelas de Katie Rodgers parecen cobrar vida propia! Estos pájaros tienen un colorido increíble, tan hermoso, que dan ganas de imitar.

I decided and since it's stronger than me to continue looking for different gray backgrounds and the way they enhance other colors. This is Owen Gildersleeve's tactile typographic and illustrative paper work, its paper not computer, which makes it even more special to me than it already is.
